The Service

Forged in Trivia is a free, browser-based multiplayer trivia game. Players create or join rooms using a shared code and play one of several trivia game modes together.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

Sessions, Not Accounts

The Service doesn't use accounts, passwords, or email addresses. Instead, your browser is given an anonymous session when you visit. You're responsible for activity that happens under your session and for the display name and content you choose to submit.

Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• ›Use a display name, chat message, or submission that is harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise abusive
• ›Impersonate another player, host, or Forged in Trivia staff
• ›Cheat, exploit bugs, or interfere with other players' ability to fairly play a game
• ›Attempt to disrupt, overload, or bypass rate limits or other protections on the Service
• ›Use automated tools, such as bots or scripts, to access the Service outside of normal browser use

Moderation and Termination

Chat is filtered for profanity automatically. We may remove content, remove a player from a room, or block a session's access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we believe these Terms have been violated. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

Content You Submit

Chat messages are ephemeral and are deleted when a room closes — we don't keep a record of them. If you submit a bug report or suggest a trivia question, you grant us the right to use, edit, and publish that submission, for example by adding your suggested question to the game, without compensation. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to submit what you send us.

Intellectual Property

The Forged in Trivia name, logo, game design, and trivia question content are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond using the Service as intended.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every trivia question and answer is accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Forged in Trivia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
